BARC SA has a team of dedicated Project Managers with vast experience in clinical trial project management and laboratory and scientific disciplines.
All project managers have university qualifications in medical or scientific disciplines. They have GCP (Good Clinical Practice), GCLP (Good Clinical Laboratory Practice) and IATA (International Air Transport Association) trained and are registered with the HPCSA in their relevant disciplines.
Each clinical trial is assigned to a dedicated Project Manager for the duration of the trial. The Project Manager designs and sets up all relevant documentation as per trial protocol. They manage and coordinate all clinical trial samples received, test result reports and accounts for their designated clinical trials. They also co-ordinate all work flows between internal departments from kit building to final reporting. They also extract and provide electronic data to clinical trial data managers and assist with resolving any discrepancies. The Project Manager is the first point of contact for investigators and sites and they are responsible for resolving any queries arising related to their clinical trial specimens, results and account queries.
Our project managers are the vital link between the clinical trial sites and the laboratory results, and they go the extra mile to ensure that the laboratory testing is performed in accordance with the study protocol and to the highest standards at all times.
